Hotel Orion Berlin

I stayed at orion for 2 nights and loved the very convenient location. It has great access to train stations, and my room was spacious and quiet. The staff provided easy and kind support during check-in and check-out. They shared an electric kettle and cups. Breakfast was also pretty good!

Location: the hotel was not far from TXL airport, both S and U-Bahn and U-Bahn for easy transport...

We had an early check-in, the room was silent with 5 windows which could open. Location: the hotel was next to rail station and shops, Kantstrasse and Kurfurstendamm and the grocery store around the corner.

All the staff, except one, a young lady who worked the desk in the morning and afternoon, were courteous, helpful, and pleasant. Double pane windows kept out most of the noise from the building construction site across the street.

The shower head wouldn't stau up when you pushed it up. The morning breakfast, although, reasonable wasn't tasty, except for the fruit.

A fair review, pros and cons

The hotel had a great location, just a short distance from public transport options. The staff were communicative and friendly.

I faced connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi, which disrupted my work. The furniture needed updates for a more comfortable feel.

Transport: close to charlottenburg train station. Sign on the road to the hotel. 25-30 minutes from schoenefeld airport. Very close to 109 bus to tegel airport. 15-20 minutes from charlottenburg to city center, good connections to other stations. Quiet neighborhood. Close to both luxurious and outlet shops. Clean room, no problems with hot water. Internet always available in the lobby (large breakfast hall with tables and chairs). Sometimes internet was available in the rooms. Staff friendly, speak russian. Good breakfast included. Good view from the window (5th floor).

Rooms were OK and breakfast very good.

Utilize the 24-hour reception for late-night snack options or local delivery recommendations. They are very accommodating.

It was very clean and tidy, there was also plenty of storage.

They are rebuilding the building next to it so it was fine for the weekend as no building work took place but we were woken up on monday really early.

The location is excellent, near key spots like the ICC and well-connected to public transportation. The room was clean and spacious.

The Wi-Fi was inconsistent, frequently dropping out, a hassle for getting some work done. Some of the facilities felt outdated, and the absence of air conditioning. Noise insulation left something to be desired. I could hear footsteps in the hallways at night. The breakfast offerings were quite limited, not up to par with what I've experienced elsewhere. Finally, there's an unsettling smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the hallways, which detracts from the overall ambiance.

The location is just perfect.Stuff is friendly and profesional. Securitywise for car-very good. Price-value- excelent! Next time I wodn't miss it!
